The Instructional Chair is responsible for providing final interpretation of rules for the Wrestling Association. Ultimate determination of rules is made by the CIF State Interpreter, who is currently Duane Morgan. The Instructional Chair will be the lead person to contact the CIF State Interpreter for any wrestling rules interpretation.

In each year, The Instructional Chair will give an overview of the new rules for the year and the current rule book. The Instructional Chair will hold the position for 3 years.
